Announcing her passing, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Francis Ottah-Agbo, in a statement released today, said Madame Dickson died of cancer at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, United States, where she had been receiving treatment. She was 72 years old.
The statement said that until her death, Madam GoldCoast was ''a quintessential mother, a devout Christian and community leader who devoted her lifetime to the service of God and humanity.”
Funeral details will be announced later by the family. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
